Samish Island Sunset


Images captured years ago, now seeing the light of day…

It was just one of those utterly unbelievably colorful sunsets.

There is no way to fake those colors!

  1. Several Questions.: (01) how deep did yo sink into the Sand and Mush…? It is Obvious that you survived.. Moving out into the Mush to capture one more…!..?? (Who helped you out .??), so you could scramble up the Hill to get the “Last one”..???.. How many more “Treasures” are stashed away under Maps, Travel Brochures and Ol’ food wrappers..??? Thanks for Sharing.. (The incoming tide was nice to see.! Again…THANKS.

  2. You are right, Andy: Some things in nature simply cannot be faked — and the rich colors of a sunset are near the top of that list. Beautiful composition and perfect metering help a bit too, though. 😉
